“Wont You Be My Neighbor?” Fast, Easy Companion Planting.

In planning my garden for this next spring, I have decided to take a small step toward the idea of companion planing. I chose to plant this year only the veggies I know I’ll use and I’m going to choose only one “companion variety”screen-shot-2016-10-07-at-9-28-43-pm

I printed this list, chose the veggies I’ll actually eat and/or fruits I currently have and selected one of the companions to the right. I tried to choose a “companion” which I thought would be useful. So for instance, I am going to plant carrots and plant cucumber along side.

For me, I try now to take small steps rather than these big life changing (and life consuming) steps. This way, its not a chore….more of a learning experiencscreen-shot-2016-10-07-at-9-28-23-pme and an opportunity for a curious mind to enjoy.

I’ve added this list to my own Knowledge Preserve and as always as a small step toward greater self-reliance. Keep it simple…
